1. What stage of writing do I need to be at to join?

WAC welcomes writers at every stage — whether you have a vague idea and haven't written a word, or you're halfway through a second draft. Our sessions and community are structured to meet you where you are. What matters is that you have a book you want to finish.

2. What genre does Writing Accountability Collective support?

All of them. We have members writing literary fiction, thrillers, memoir, self-help, business books, children's books, fantasy, romance, and more. The accountability and craft support translates across genres, and our expert panels cover a wide range of publishing paths.

3. How much time do I need to commit each month?

The live sessions total around 6–8 hours per month. You can attend as many or as few as fit your schedule — all sessions are recorded for members who can't attend live. The WhatsApp community is there whenever you want it, with no pressure to be constantly active.

4. Who are the experts in the workshop and office hours?

Our expert roster includes published authors, developmental editors, literary agents, publicists, and self-publishing specialists. Donna personally curates every guest to ensure they bring practical, relevant expertise — not just credentials. You'll meet the experts in advance through our community so you can come with targeted questions.

5. Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. Monthly members can cancel anytime before their next billing date to avoid future charges — access continues through the end of the current billing cycle.

There are no partial or prorated refunds for unused time. For pay-in-full Founders plans, a full refund is available within 7 days of purchase; after 30 days, a $197 fee plus $25 administration fee applies per the refund policy.

6. Is this only for first time authors?

Not at all. We have members working on their second, third, and fourth books. Experienced writers often find WAC especially valuable for accountability on projects that keep getting pushed aside, and for staying current with publishing and marketing trends.

7. What happens if I miss a live session?
